Appointments & Bookings
By booking an appointment with The Divine Essence Therapies and Training, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Booking & Cancellation Policy. Please ensure that all information provided when making your booking is accurate and up to date.
Consultation & Health Information
Clients are required to complete the relevant consultation form and provide accurate information regarding their health, medical history, medication, allergies and any other information that may affect the suitability of treatment.
Please inform your therapist of any changes to your health, medication or circumstances before future treatments.
Failure to disclose relevant information may mean that a treatment cannot safely be carried out.
Treatment Suitability
All treatments are subject to consultation and suitability.
The therapist reserves the right to adapt, postpone or decline a treatment where a contraindication is identified, where further information is required, or where treatment may not be appropriate or safe.
In some circumstances, you may be advised to seek appropriate medical advice or clearance before treatment can proceed.
Consent & Comfort
Your comfort, dignity and wellbeing are important throughout your treatment. Please inform your therapist if you experience any discomfort or would like the pressure, positioning, temperature, sound level or any other aspect of your treatment adjusted.
Consent is ongoing throughout your appointment. You may withdraw your consent or ask for the treatment to stop at any time.
Appointments, Cancellations & Late Arrival
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late arrival may result in your treatment being shortened to avoid affecting subsequent appointments. The full treatment price may still apply.
Late cancellations and missed appointments may be subject to the conditions outlined within the Booking & Cancellation Policy.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in advance payment being required before future appointments are accepted.
Payments & Booking Fees
Where a booking fee or advance payment is required, this will be made clear to you.
Where applicable, an appointment will only be considered secured once the required booking fee has been received.
Any booking fee paid will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment, with the remaining balance payable on the day of your appointment unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation, rescheduling and refund conditions relating to booking fees are outlined within the Booking & Cancellation Policy and will be made clear where applicable.
Treatment Results
Individual responses to treatments vary and specific results cannot be guaranteed.
Holistic and complementary therapies are intended to support relaxation and wellbeing and are not a substitute for appropriate medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment.
Clients should follow any relevant aftercare advice provided following their treatment.
Respectful Environment
The Divine Essence Therapies and Training aims to provide a safe, professional and respectful environment for everyone.
Inappropriate, abusive, threatening or sexually inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. An appointment may be ended immediately where necessary, and future bookings may be declined.
Personal Belongings
Clients are responsible for their own personal belongings while attending an appointment. Please take care of valuables brought onto the premises.
Privacy & Confidentiality
Personal information and health information provided in connection with your booking and treatment will be handled confidentially and in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection requirements.
Information may be retained where necessary for treatment records, insurance, legal or regulatory purposes.
Changes to Appointments
On rare occasions, The Divine Essence Therapies and Training may need to cancel, reschedule or amend an appointment due to illness, unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside reasonable control.
Where this happens, you will be contacted as soon as reasonably possible and arrangements will be made to reschedule where appropriate.
Agreement
By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Booking & Cancellation Policy.
You also confirm that the information you provide during your booking and consultation is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
